Moone Athy Advisory Board

Greetings, All!

I hope and trust this blog finds you well…

As our brood expands, as our geographic dispersion extends, and as our multiple priorities accumulate, there is a growing sentiment that we (collectively) increasingly miss opportunities to harness and leverage the true value and potential of Moone Athy. This is in no way an indictment to any one of my dear relatives; rather, it is a call to action.

The deteriorating physical condition of the house is really the impetus to this initiative. Many have suggested it is the opportune time to establish a vision for Moone Athy and implement a mission and operating plan which furthers that vision. Those involved in preliminary discussions have suggested that at the very least we should begin some dialogue around where we’ve been, where we are, and where we want to go. On behalf of that group, I would propose that we form an Advisory Board to lead this charge. The Board will develop a charter, perform some due diligence and discovery, and ultimately make some recommendations to the Trustees as to opportunities for ensuring Moone Athy remains not only true to Granny’s original intent but continues to evolve in the benefits it offers her lineage.

If you are at all interested in participating on the Board, very simply indicate as much by adding a comment below . Once volunteers announce themselves, we will form the Board with diverse representation of each generation, each family, both genders, in-laws, etc. Please understand that with a commitment to conducting a streamlined process, we will be conscious of Board size and, therefore, not every one is guaranteed a seat at the table. Any eliminations will be made based on the aforementioned diversity component and affected by random selection.

Thank you for your consideration and support. Stay tuned for developments…

With love and warmest regards,

Charlie
